1997 Saab 900SE turbo will not start

I stopped my car but when I returned to it an hour or two later it would not start. It turns over OK but will not fire.

Yes, when I turn the key the engine turns over as it should but will not fire so the battery is fine. UPDATE - just went to try it again. The engine turned over (cranked) a few times then started. It idled for about 5 to 10 minutes then stopped. When I try it now it tries to fire but will not run. I did swap the fuel relay for another but I think that it starting after this was a coincidence.

Could it be a filter blockage?

Turn the key to turn the accessories on. When the radio reads "CODE" or "CODE IN" you enter it. Wait a few seconds and it will start right up.

Where do i puchase spark plugs for my 1992 saab 9000 non turbo in lakeland,fl

Both Auto Zone and Advance Auto carry the plugs you need for your Saab....you can check on-line for the store nearest you...if they don't have them in stock they can order them for you and you can usually get them the same day. I have never had a problem ordering plugs for my 1997 Saab 900S nor for the 1997 Saab 9000 and 1999 Saab 900SE that I work on for friends.....hope this helps.
