Question about 2004 Chrysler Town & Country

I need to get to the back door motor

I have a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country. The motorized back door isn't working properly, I was told because the bolt probably came out of the motor. Where can I find detailed instructions on how to remove the plastic to get to it?

Your plastic molding is probably held on by anchors that simply are attached to the trim and can be popped off with a small flat bar ve careful though they break easily if too much force is used

Code 480 on chrysler town and country 3.3, why fuse blows? Even after a fan has been replaced, and relay been replaced.

Probably.
The code means the computer detects the fan is not running after the computer has grounded the relay to turn it on.
If the fuse is blowing and you have replaced the fan motor, I would look for a problem in the wiring. If the fuse is not blowing, I would check for power at the relay and at the fan motor with the relay jumpered. Also check the ground circuit for the fan.

Rear power windows not working

One common problem that occurs with faulty power windows is a faulty Chrysler Town and Country window motor. You can obtain access to your Town and Country window motor by removing your interior door panel, where you will also find your window regulator.

The window regulator is a collection of gears and arms that controls the up and down motion of your windows, and your window motor is the component responsible for turning those gears when you press your window switches. If your windows are not working, your first step should be to determine whether the problem lies with your window regulator, or your Chrysler Town and Country window motor.

You can often do this by listening when you press your window switch. If you hear a humming or a grinding sound, this usually means that your window motor is still trying to work, but your regulator is stuck. However, if you don't hear anything at all, then there may be a problem with your fuses, your wiring, or your Town and Country window motor. Over time your window motor may develop problems due to grime buildup, or simply wear and tear through normal use. You will find a full line of Chrysler Town and Country window motors right here in our online catalogue, along with the fuses, wiring, window switch kits, and window regulators you need.Enjoy our great low prices and fast reliable shipping on all Town and Country window motors as well as all of our high quality auto parts and accessories.

The passenger side rear window doesn't close

I'd bet it is the motor to the window. I haven't replaced this yet. All of the plastic on the sides of the van can be carefully removed. You may or may not break the plastic pieces that snap in. When fixing my back door motor, I opened that door, removed the plastic along the floor (edge of door and worked my way around removing side plastic. I don't know where the window motor is located but I'd imagine you will need to do similar in getting the plastic off to get to it.

Front blower isn't working on 2004 chrysler town and country.

Have you checked for power at your blower motor connector itself? A simple 12 volt test light can be used for this. If there's no power then check all your fuses.

Passenger power window will not open.

We have had this happen in every town and country and caravan that we have owned. They will tell you that the window motor needs replaced. It will work for a while and then break again. Did I mention that the price tag to fix it is pretty hefty? A friend of mine told me that he fixed his with a salvaged window motor for a fraction of the price. The motor is obviously defective though if it breaks so easily.

you need a blower resistor maybe a blower motor also but the resistor is for speeds and it usually goes when the blower motor starts to draw too much power the resistor is outside under the cowl on the passanger side you may need a connector pigtail also the dealer will have what you need
