I have a 1995 Chevy k1500. My transmission wont shift out of second gear. I was getting ready to leave work one day when I tried to use my remote start, it didnt work so I started my truck up and started to leave, pulled out, it shifted to second, when it started to shift out of second it was almost like it was in Neutral? What should I do?

This sounds like a wiring issue, check and make sure the transmission connector is ok, no broken locks on hard shell or bent pins.

The transmission is a 4L60E.. Also My transmission has never had slipping problems, It doesnt even have hard shifts from park to drive ,never had any problems.. Lastly I have aftermarket Remote start, Alarm system, and Radio, but this happened as soon as i used my remote start..
Could it be my shift solenoids?
