Dashboard lights 2002 Rendezvous

The right hand side of my radio and fan / temperature lights are not working. It seems to be split down the middle - left side works, right side doesn't. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

I had to replace the Comfort Control module last year. This is the unit with the 3 dials (etc) on it just below the radio. GM wanted $410 in Toronto so I bought one at a scrapyard for $160 out of a 2005 RVS. I was told by GM dealer that some fancy PCB was inside the module that would eventually cause the entire instrument panel not to light. It solved my problem.

Hopefully this helps.

Where is 2005 rendezvous dashboard lights and interior lights fuse?

Check the fuse box on the right (passenger) side of the center console. You should be able to identify which fuse it is by checking in the owner's manual.

Temperature gauge is fine with going down the road, but once i stop in traffic and sit in traffic for lights or cruise at a low speed.. temperature rises... to the middle mark and over... what could that...

sounds to me like you radiator fan isn't running. I say that because cooling is fine while moving at a good speed but cooling gets worse as the vehicle is stationary or low speed. Check the fan and make sure its working if it works then will need to check the thermostat behind the fuel pump it may have gone bad.

Fan / blower do not work - initially only one setting did work - replaced teh pwr resistor - did not solve problem. Switch or motoer - how do I jump 12V to motor to test?

easier to use a 12 volt test light on connector to blower motor to see if power is getting there.
If not, take switch out and test or replace.
If power is there, replace blower motor. (you can take it out and use short jumper wires to the battery to make sure it doesn't work--as i think you were suggesting you wanted to do)

Here are steps to access the motor:

Remove the footwell lower trim panel.
  1. Open the glove compartment.
  2. Remove the footwell vent air duct.
  3. Pull off the hose.
  4. Close the glove compartment.
  5. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I have a 2002 Freelander 2.5 SE automatic V6. All the interior lights are working apart from the centre console lights. The fuel, temperature, rev counter and speedo are all working. The heated rear screen...

The internal panel lights work off the left hand side of the side lights and are protected by the 10 amp fuse for this side. I had replaced both stop and tail lights with a heavy duty bulbs and because the left hand side powers the panel lights as well, obviously it was too much for the circuit. The right hand side was okay.

Radio fuse location in 2002 Buick Rendezvous

It is under the glove box on the left side of the console. Pull off the cover and you will find a fuse chart.

Odometer stopped working, along with SOME of lites in dash board

Those bulbs may have just blown, or maybe a fuse is blown. But the odometer that is another thing, like maybe the cable but its not the neutral switch.
