Well go to the fuse pannel and with a test light have some one sit in the truck and turn the key on check the fuses if ya got one with power now turn key off if the light goes out then ya got the fuse. You can buy fuse taps that go over the fuses and are realy nice to use.Also inm not sure what you are hooking up but make sure you put an inline fuse in so that you dont burn anything up in case of a short.

I have a 2008 3500 ram .at start up the dashboard instruments go blank and the odometer flashes repeatedly.

2008 dodge ram 3500 brakelights will stay on after applied 3-4 times. will not shut off until 3-5 minutes after ignition is shut off???

You most likely need a new brake light switch. It is located near the top of your brake pedal arm, and it is held in place with a pin and a clip, as well as a removeable electrical connector. They are not too expensive, less than $20, and relatively easy to change.

Heater blower is not working have no power at the switch fuse is ok the motor is good


check all the connections on the back of the fuse panel and PCB upanel under the hood...they are known for corrosion

  1. Generator Pulley (1)
  2. Water Pump Pulley (2)
  3. Idler Pulley (3)
  4. Power Steering Pump Pulley (4)
  5. Radiator Fan Pulley (5)
  6. Crankshaft Pulley (6)
  7. Automatic Tensioner (7)
  8. A/C Compressor Pump Pulley (8)
CAUTION: When installing the accessory drive belt, the belt must be routed correctly. If not, engine may overheat due to water pump rotating in wrong direction. Refer to or for correct engine belt routing. The correct belt with correct length must be used.
1. Position drive belt over all pulleys except water pump pulley. 2. Attach a 1/2 inch ratchet to tensioner.

3. Rotate ratchet and belt tensioner clockwise. Place belt over water pump pulley. Let tensioner rotate back into place. Remove ratchet. Be sure belt is properly seated on all pulleys.
