I have a 1992 mazda 626 5 speed manual and the clutch is stuck down what do i check

You will need to check the transmission fluid. There is a dip stick for the trans just under your breather box on the driver side of the car. Start your car and let it warm up before checking the trans fluid. It should show on the stick. It should be the upper mark on the stick. If it is touching it then the fluid is ok and if not you will need to add some fluid.

96 mazda 626 not shifting into 4th gear

You basically need the trans rebuilt. The only way the speed sensor could affect any of the shifting problems is if it broke off into the trans. somehow. You could try checking the trans fluid first, or having it changed.

How do i access the auto trans filter on 1994 mazda 626 2.0.auto overdrive trans.?

You have to drop your transmission pan. The best way is to remove the bolts except the back bolts just loosen those a little bit so that the fluid drains into a container and let it drain for awhile. Then come back and remove the pan (be careful of the fluid still in the pan when you remove it) Once the pan is out of the way you should be able to see your filter since its the first thing the fluid flows through when it heads to the tranny. You should be able to pop it off. be mindful of any rubber gaskets and where they go.

I have a 96 mazda 626 v6 manuel trans, i hear a loud whining sound from the trans, i put fluid in the trans. till was full but no effect, could there be a clog or something preventing fluid to drain down?...

Sorry to say what you describe sounds like an output shaft bearing on your tranny.Take it in quickly to a tranny shop(Not a local garage) and let them hear it.If it lets go it will do a lot of damage and potentially make the job a lot more expensive.Good Luck

Wheres the transmission filter located at on 1997 mazda 626

the filter is located inside the trans. you have to take the pan off the trans to drain it. be sure to have a catch pan big ehough to catch the fluid. get a filter and gasket before you start.

I have a mazda 626 and this morning the alarm came

Pull the fuse out. If its an aftermarket alarm system it may have been plugged direct without a fuse so a total disconnection is needed at that power source

Mazda 626 auto tranny engages slow switching from reverse

Sounds like a pump issue, check line pressure. If it does have a bad trans pump it can be changed with out removing the trans. But also check the fluid level if you haven't already.
