SOURCE: transmission error code P1750

Might be really simple - but EXPENSIVE! I had a similar fault - apparently the first planet set breaks up. Cure - a new box. Price - crippling!

Don't be tempted to skimp on the box. Get a rebuild from a reputable supplier. A s/h box will set you back around £5-600 in UK where a rebuilt (guaranteed) will be more like £1800. The thing with the cheap box is it costs about the same to fit but you don't know how good it is till it's too late! Then you're still shopping for another but you're £600 lighter!

Also, you could be buying other faults. If the speed sensor has had a problem - the box will change badly (snatching) and that will be another £250 where the expensive box will have ahad one fitted!

SOURCE: Dear Williammoody, My name is Sandy

The error code p1750 which shows up as Mechanical Problem in Hydraulic Control System of A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid is caused by a faulty pressure valve. The valve is located in the valve body/pack which is bolted on the outside in that exact model of transmission (and only in it) so replacing just it will solve the problem. Otherwise the valve body is inside the transmission and not sold as a separate part - you will have to replace it whole.

P1750 code

P1750 Electronic gear selector module. Low control unit supply voltage too low.

Clear this fault first, as gear position sensor is not saying transmission is in P or N in order for engine to start. Check voltage at battery. Should be 12.65 if fully charged.

Low voltage causes false codes too and if too many set they will need clearing. Spilling tea coffee or soda down the shift gate can cause similar problems. Also the wiring to the transmission can become oil soaked and not pass full voltage to shift module at the connector.
It is also possible this code has nothing to do with a no start and you have another componet failure. .

P1750,how do i fix whatever this is ?

Here's the definition,

P1750 (Honda/Acura) : Mechanical Problem in Hydraulic Control System of A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve.

Basically, the transmission is the problem. It's pretty much something that can't be repaired at home. Specialty tool are needed for this job. I would call around local transmission shop for prices for repair.

My 2002 honda has a transmission problem went to autozone to check on there computer it came up with p1750 code thought it was low fluid but i added fluid and it did not help the check eng light is still...

If I am not mistaken isn't that a shift solenoid code. If it is a shift solenoid code you will need to service the tranny and have it replaced. You can also check and see it there are any service bulletins or recalls on the tranny system through your local dealer.
