Which O2 sensor do you need, you have 4 O2 sensors in your Dodge ram. Is it the O2 sensor upstream or the down stream.
I believe the down stream will have the 4 wire lead and the up stream will have the 3 wire leads.
If you need the down stream O2 sensor which is the common one to go bad, you can look at the wire harness clip which is only 6 inches a way form the sensor after the catalytic converter.
Good luck and hope this helps.
P0406 is the EGR valve. It sits on the right front of the engine. Just remove the two bolts on the tube and the two bolts on the valve itself and there you go. Reset the lamp with a scan tool or by disconnecting the battery for a couple minutes and retest.
Most of the times it is the EGR sensor that has gone bad. It is located in the back right side by the throttle body. You will see a hose that runs from the top of your EGR to the sensor. On your Dodge it is VERY eay to replace.
