I have the same problem.  My radio and dome light both stopped working out of nowhere.  Everytime i place a fuse in the terminal it pops instantly.  Any other ideas?  Thanks Duane

The radio may be defective, pull it out and verify power to the radio, u can buy the radio removal tools at any NAPA parts store or get them from Ford, they are very cheap to buy. here is the wiring colors and what they do, u will also need a cheap 12 volt test light, about $6

1998 ford explorer radio does'nt work switch on sterrein wheel broke.how to fix it ?no power to the radio

You can't turn it on by the switch on the radio ? Nothing showing on the radio display ? If not check these fuses
Blown central junction box (CJB) Fuse 1 (7.5A), Fuse 20 (7.5A), Fuse 28 (7.5A), and Fuse 29 (25A) . The switch on the steering wheel should not stop the radio from being turned on at the radio !

Horn has stopped working on my 2006 Ford Explorer. The fuse seems to be fine. What could be the problem?

I would suspect an underhood fuse, the steering wheel clock spring, or a wiring problem. It's cheap to triple check all the fuses. The other two will require some troubleshooting to figure out. Since the horn works with the keyless entry, the relay, the horn, and its control wiring seem to be ok.

Radio, CD player, Sync, clock stopped working on my 2008 Ford Explorer

Most likely a fuse. If your fuse box is labeled it will say radio under the fuse. If its not check your owners manual for location of fuse box and radio fuse.

Radio stops working. Why does the fuse keep

First is that the stock a radio. If it's an aftermarket disconnect any amplifiers, also if there's a power antenna disconnect that sometimes they become jammed. If you still blown fuses disconnect the radio and check to see if it's still blowing fuses. If not get a wiring diagram and find out what other things are on at circuit. It's a simple process of elimination. Good luck with that.

Windows and radio stopped working, fuses were good.

you obviously have a short somewhere. unless you are knowledgeable in these areas, you will need to take it into a shop to have them find it. you have fuses, control modes in a few places as well.
