It is necessary to check the engine, maybe the problem of the internal engine.

SOURCE: Location of Oilf Filter on BMW X5 4.4i V8 Engine

Depends on the engine, if its a M62, its under the hood, torwards the front drivers side. 9e6fcd7.jpgIf it a N62, it is on the underside of the vehicle, next to the oil drain plug. Its the black plastic housing with a 6mm allen bolt in it(thats used to drain the oil out before removal)25e2e14.png

I have 2005 bmw x5 4.8 is.... the front passenger side is sagging.... an when you start it it doesn't pump it's self up ..... and when you try to raise or lower the suspension with the switch... the light...

The front air spring is leaking or the line or the connector. You can locate the leak by spraying with water/ detergent mix and watching for bubbling at the leak.

My BMW x5 keeps stalling it's a 2001! Any ideas as to why?

Hi
A few things you could look at that would contribute to your X5 stalling would be:
1. Air Filter
2.Fuel Filter
3.Mas air flow sensor and associated pipework (leaks/ come addrift)
4.Vaccumm leaks (pipes and engine)
5.Spark plugs (lots of pictures on-line of different types of build up/fouling on them and fixes)
7.o2 sensor located on the exhaust
6.Failing all the above the fault can be read at most garages by a fault reader and that should if not defiantly point the fault out.
