Hazard lights don't work when button is depressed. Turn signal lights also only work intermittently. Replaced the hazard switch with a new OEM switch but buzzing persists.

OK try this, push and hold brake then push on the hazard switch if brake lights come on then replace the turn signal switch.

well you need to test for power on the circuit that the turn signals are on, youll need a diagram of the circuit/harness and a multi-meter with the probe attachments that pierce the wire, start at the begging and work back to the lights, when you lose power you find your break in the circuit.
the method you would be using is voltage drop testing. and u can search it for more details on the process

replace both bulbs,, on the chevy they use the new bulbs with the very thin wire that goes into the socket, they have been having problems with the plastic in the socket getting hot and being partially covered, which makes the connection no good,, try this, with a small, screwdriver or if you have one a small pick tool, gently pry the wire outward from the socket,, Just a very little will do the trick,, then put the bulb in the socket, you should be fine after that ,, if the rear lights are working, then nothing is wrong with the signal switch, since they are on the same circuit. your hazard switch you replaced was probably ok also. if this doesn't work, do the same thing on the bulbs,, to insure a good contact
Testimonial: "worked great! One of the sockets also had some melted plastic on the metal contacts. I scraped the plastic off, and everything is working well again"
