Question about 1987 Honda Accord
The 95 mazda 626 automatic, will not get out of park. The shifter will move but the car will not go into gear, I have heard that there is a cable that connects to the trans that maybe loose http://www.mazda626.net/index.php?showtopic=30060 , the question I have by this link is where the cable is located and how to fix. Is it under the car and I have to jack it up or do I take loose the shifter and it is under there, help needed? I am a novice repair guy but I can repair a lot of things
It is under the shirter AND it connects to the transmission under the hood. I beleive on that model you would need to jack the car up possibly loosen the tans to get to the side connected to the trans.
