94 G20 5.7L problem starting when warm. It hesitates, runs rough low power but other times runs perfect with full power

The van is very hard to start when it has been run and has been off for 30-60 minutes. It will restart immediately after running and it starts OK when cold. But very hard to start when warm.

Temp guage was normal for the vehicle showing a temp around 140. The van doesn;t heat up much beyond that except i the summer heat. Even then doesn't get too hot, very good cooling system.

Try to get it running a bit to warm up the exhaust. Take a point and shoot thermometer and take the temp of the cat. If temps exceed 400 degrees I would start to suspect a plugged cat.

93 chevy lumina runs rough dies and won't start after it warms up

Back firing is usually an indication of a timing issue

The timing chain is most likely worn & jumped a couple
of teeth or the distributor was installed wrong,if you recently
had work done

1.8L engine- check engine light comes on, runs rough & hesitates

I have a 93 escort and it lost power every once in a while and ran rough at other times. The solution was to replace the oxygen sensor. It has run excellant for the last 45,000 miles now.

94 G20 5.7L won't start warm, runs rough, low power

just happened to me!! - shop said i needed tune up,which i personally did last summer 4500 miles ago.i told them its not a tune up,more involved than replacing all the parts!!!i picked it up yesterday and after it warmed up,SAME PROBLEM!! took it back within 2 hours of picking it up!Well, they just called me,said they replaced fuel pump and its O.K. now.Now i have to discuss refund on tune-up with them.Oh,they also changed the oil which i do religiously every 3 months. The oil and filter only had 900 miles on them.WISH ME LUCK ON A REFUND!!
