There was another guy on here that had the same problem and he ended up throwing the tv away because it cost too much to repair, you migt call a repair man in and see what they quote you on yours

Good day, i have a nissan micra 2012 visia plus and I need the colour code for the radio wiring as i am replacing it. Below is a picture of how the radio looks like

have you check to see if you can get an adapter wiring kit that will plug into the original car harness and the new radio. this way you don`t have to play with the wiring and mess something up.

Red oil light

Check oil level in sump, the light is controlled by a oil pressure switch, pressure supplied by the oil pump. If the light is on, its indicating no oil pressure, hopefully the switch has gone faulty, but you need to have the pressure checked. If it is the oil pump that's failed, then the engine will suffer excessive damage and wear.

Automatic gearbox has reverse only no drive tries but wont move forword, drives fine backwords, gear oil level ok and still red in colour no leaks

check your gearbox selector mech somthing may have come apart with wear and check it from under the vehicle but mostly be safe when you do this it may take a second person to select gears as you observe wats going on at the gear box end if its elect select you will find the selector has gone faulty try a pre used part

A dash light emblem of a circle with 3 dashes on either side.. what does this mean?

If it looks like the symbol in the image below, it is your brake pad wear sensor.

Your front or rear brake pads are probably worn out (and are below the minimum thickness) and need to be replaced.

Or the wear sensor could be faulty and need replacement also.

Severe tire wear within the last 6 months. I'm looking at getting the front end aligned, but I'm sure it needs shocks or struts. I don't wanna sound stupid, which does it have or does it have both??

if you look under the wheelarch, above the front wheel,if you can see a strut surrounded by a spring, then you have both.(the damper is inside the strut)(ive put it this way so you can see for yourself.)NOW tyre wear,if your shockers have gone the wear pattern will be flat across the tyre tread/no tread/tread/no tread, and you will feel like you have square wheels.
to check shockers, push hard down on one corner, the car should bounce up,then down, then settle at its original more.

The sound you hear is most likely the brake pad wear, not the caliper. When pads start to wear down, they will start to make grinding noise, and not necessarly all the time. As the pad wears down more, then the grinding will be hear consistently.
It could also be a worn hub bearing. Jack up the vehicle and spin the tire and see if you can recreate this noise. Use jack stands to support the vehicle.

Most of the vacum hoses were gone or ports on carb. were plugged.Need a diagarm of were the hoses go on a 1983 Jeep CJ7 with a 258 inline six with a 2 barrel Carter carb.

Most vacuum hoses are colour coded nowaday, not sure about your one, so look carefully at the end of each hose for coloured dots or lines that should line up with the ports also

Just put new brake pad on 2003 grand am, bled the brake, with new fluid. the pedal still goes to the floor. when driving, it will stop when going slow. when driving fast it will not stop fast. do i need to...

One just like yours just rolled out of my driveway!!! Nephew changed the pads, did everything right and came up with nearly non functional brakes. The rotors on that car looked worn but OK but when we replaced them with new, everything was just fine. In theory, this should not happen (calipers should take up any wear 'till the rotors are completely gone (in theory)). But I can't argue with what just worked!!!
