Nothing happens when you turn on the heater/ac. No sound, nothing. I checked the heater/ac fuse in the fuse box but it is fine. I see a black plug that says HEATER on it but nothing is said about it in my manual.

CHECK AC / HEATER IGNITION FUSE IT WILL BE 10 AMP FUSE.CHECK HVAC BLOWER 20 AMP FUSE.HAVE BLOWER MOTOR HOTWIRE TO SEE IF BLOWER MOTOR WORKS.BECAUSE THE AC / HEAT CONTROL MODULE OR SWITCH COULD GO BAD WHERE NOTHING WORKS.
it sounds to me that you might have a small short, and (or) in line fuse,(you can't see), might have blown, go to your nearest advance, kelly,or auto zone (it's Free), and have them run a Code test on it, and let me know what code errors it throws, god bless
my 06 h3 just had same problem, the motor control resistor pack was bad, located under glove box, mounted inside ac duct, large connector and two screws will remove it.
mine had burnt spot on connector, cleaned connector terminals and installed new pack, works fine now. I found your problem while looking for another elec problem i'm having.
