Question about 1993 Ford Mustang
While I am driving my check oil and check engine light comes on? It started after I changed my oil and replaced the filter with a Fram, whitch I ussually use the ford motorsport FL1A? The oil presure has stayed the same??? what is going on? Please help anyone
First thing is make sure you have oil in the car. The oil light works off of a switch mounted on the side of the oil pan. It could be a bad connection at the connector on the switch. I have owned 6 Fox body mustangs and the only completely trouble free oil filter is the FL1A. i have had 1 out of 5 Fram oil filters set off the engine light. One of my cars is a 500 hp notchback '92 model and I use the FL1A in that car also.
