The button which says cd is just below where you turn on the radio. It is to the left of the button that says tape ( for a cassette) We looked in the trunk and all over the front panel for a place to put a cd disk in but can not find one.

If it has a console down the middle of the car, the CD player is located in there with a six CD magazine. If you have a button for a CD there must be a CD player in the car.

Hi Learner8

Cd players aren't overly hard to take out and put in. If you have a butter knife, you can slide that in at the top of the player and the bottom to pop any clips that are holding it in. I suggest getting the new player so you can see where the clips are on the replacement first. A new player can be bought at places like Radio Shack, Walmart, and electronic stores. Used ones can be purchased from salvage yards or you can search for one on www.car-parts.com

Hi...
Is there a small headphone type plug in the front of the radio?
If there is..you'd need to plug a portable CD player in there.

Also , check an owners manual

That is because you do not have the optional CD player. One would be installed and a wire run to the back of your radio. It would be far better to just get an aftermarket system put in rather than a factory.

Doors wont lock

It sounds like the key cylinder, in the door, has become frozen. You can try putting some powered graphite or penetrating oil into the key hole and work it free. Or take the door panel off and replace it.
If you decide to replace parts then do yourself a favor and remove the panel first. Inspect all related parts and make sure it is the key cylinder and not the door latch or something else.

Best place to get one is your local wrecking yard. If you can't find a used one then the dealership can order you one. Or you can ask them at a used car lot if they have your model and if it is ok if you copy the diagram from the one they have. Hope this helps, The Raz
