I would have someone check the thermal limiter normally on the passanger side down under the glovebox because if this is shorted out it can cause this problem if you continue to have this problem with the speedo cable it is normally the cable going to the wheel or the transmission itself where the gears are worn down and it would cause this problem

You more than likely have a relay sticking open and running something after you shut it down. I would verify all the lights are going off. Make sure the radio goes off. Make sure the trunk light glove box light and heater fan is shutting off. Listen for hums or ticks inside car after shutting it off.

Where is the AC/Heater Control Actuator located?

Hi Joymar, The EATC module is mounted to the heater box under the dash, below the radio,to the right of HVAC controls. access through glove box opening.[remove glove box] look for module with wire & vacuum connections.if you see a linkage arm or rod, those are actuators, follow vacuum lines to control module.an actuator won't cause the fan to run, they control air flow.Automatic temp system modules are known to fail. Heater fail

There is a thing called a rear stat when that goes then only setting the heat motor work's on is the fastest the normally have 4 or 5 wires on and normally under glove box fixed in the venting system so it keeps it cool you might have to remove the glove box the stat is normally held in by 2 screws

Heater wont start or runs intermitently

begine with a test of the motor first,do this with a test light, under the glove box is your blower motor, turn the key on and heater fan and defrost, now ground the test light to a good ground and test the wires to motor,if you have power replace the motor.

What is making my blower motor on a 2007 nissan sentra rattle my whole dash? Where is the blower at and how do I get to it?

You can clean the fan cage by removing the glove box. Mine was filled with insulation and a few acorns.
Remove the trim piece above the glove box and take out the two screws.
Remove the glove box latch by removing the two screws.
Remove the three screws at the bottom front of the glove box.
Remove the insulation piece under the box.
This was a pain but i finally got it, reach under the box to the rear, and pull down on the box while pulling it out.
If you look up and to the left you may be able to see the fan cage in a 4x4 or so area that has a a piece of plastic with some plastic gaurds in the front. If not you have to manipulate your air flow controls until the flapper door opens. When it's closed you'll just see a 4x4 piece of foam that seals the door. I cleaned mine out by using one of those flexible claw grabber thingys, then finished up with the shop vac and the narrow ****** attachment. I replaced the cabin filter and no more vibration.

Heater fan will not shut off runs all the time on high speed. 03 dodge grand caravan

Sounds like resistor is faulty. I believe on that vehicle, look up under dash behind glove box, and you should see blower & the harness that runs from it to a resistor attached to housing/duct. Pull connector off to stop blower. Replace resistor.
