Question about 1994 Mazda MPV
My ABS amber light indicator just came on the dash panel on my 1994 Mazda MPV 4WD. Brakes still seem to work ok. Just previous to this I was replacing a burntout dome light on front center when it seemed to short out and now all the internal dome lights are out. Can there be some relationship between the 2 events? Where is the fuse panel located and is there 1 fuse for all internal cabin lights?
As far as the dome lights and the fuse they run on or where they are located I do not know. I would say check under the driver instrument panel, or under the hood on the left side ( as you are looking at it). It is highly likely that the lights run on one circuit. Your anti lock brake light is another matter altogether. When that light comes on it is because the sensor beside the brake has indicated an irregularity with the brakes that could impact braking performance in the event of a sudden stop. Most brake shops do a free brake check so if you are a do it yourselfer then you can discover the problem with that option
