I HAD IT TOWED TO THE JAGUAR DEALER THEY DID A FULL DIAGNOSTIC TEST, SUPER CHARGED THE BATTERY, CHECKED THE TIMMING TO SEE IF IT JUMPED & FOR 2HRS LABOR AT A COST OF $200. THEY CAME UP WITH THE SAME RESULTS. NEXT TIME I WILL HAVE MORE PATIENCE AND USE FIXYA.

How long did you run it for when you started it the other day? Was it for a short time?

OK.....sounds like its flooded thats all......Put the battery on charge to ensure its fully charged,Un clip the top of the air filter housing so it is loose and you can see the filter. put your foot to the floor on the accelerator pedal and crank the engine, keep it cranking and cranking until it actually fires up,even when its trying to and it sounds to have fired up,wait until it actually starts to rev up then stop cranking and release the pedal,it may pop and bang through the air filter pipework and it also may smoke at first but once its warmed up a bit take it for a spin. The stability control light will come on because of a drop in battery voltage and should go out when its started up....hope that helps

How to fix control stability off Suzuki XL7 2008. Car turns on but wont crank.

battery dead, charge it or jumper cable start it , with running donor car, like AAA tow does, (watch them or call them?>)
battery post green with corrosion , clean them its a std service point.
check fuses....
stater hot wired, (above ok) wont crank is bad starter.\
if cranks hot wired, its a good starter by bad key line,
ill stop here, ask who to test key line if you get this far,

that 1st line on Stability , ive not a clue. why not be clear where you see that. (a warning lamp. or? what)

How to fix Stability Control Off on 2008 Suzuki XL7?

double posted now, but with no starts, skipped.
try to say where you see "S
Stability Control Off" when you turn on the key all warning lamps come on.
this is covered in the operators guide. its a self test all cars do.
some lamps go off after a few second,
but not seat belts if not buckled in.
or doors no closed
the CEL stays on, check engine light. until cranked or started.

My 98 silhouette will not start. it wont even crank. it was working fine earlier in the day, but when i went to start it, nothing! this is the 2nd time in a week it has done this, the first time, it...

Next time this happens, Look for a light on the dash that says SECURITY. When this light comes on, it will shut the starter and/or the injectors off in the vehicle. This light comes on when the antitheft system starts to fail. This is very common in GM vehicles like your Olds. If you see this light, go to this link for info and answers.

2000 hyundai elantra car cranks but wont turn over just started fine 3 days ago

Did you scan for any trouble codes? Whenever the 'CHECK ENGINE' (Service Engine Soon) light comes on, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). These codes identify the particular engine management system which caused the light to come on. You'll need to use/find an OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic) Scanner to retrieve any code which have been stored in the ECU computer. Afterward, we might be able to help you DIAGNOSE the problem and perhaps fix the problem.

Car wont start, no clicks no sound

make sure you have power getting to your starter when you crank. check the small nut on the starter. should have 12 v or very close to it. this will tell you if your getting power to the starter or if somethign before the starter and something maybe with your anti theft system or not. its hard to say online cause of that anti theft. doest the light flash at all? the anti theft light?

if your getting power to the starter when you crank make sure your getting good power to the starter by turning on the head lights and see if they dim. a good starter will cause the headlites to dim when attempting to start. if nothing dims check connections. or assume bad starter motor. make sure your also getting power to the main starter stud as well.

good luck
