Question about 1994 Nissan Sentra 4-Door
Hi there .... you'll have to get the car scanned for codes. if you are in the states, take it to someone like autozone and they can scan it for free and give you the codes. post the codes here and we can help you out. if you live in Canada you'll have to take it to a shop or find someone with a code reader and they can tell you the codes. Again if you don't want the shop to fix it,post the codes here and we can help you.

a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Mechanic (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

to ideas come to mind, maybe a bad bulb in the dash (you can take this out (depending on mechanical knowledge)
or find a smaller inspections shop and try taking the car in again in hopes of that they won't catch it

a3342: Your code is for map sensor intermittent low voltage.
This car has on board diagnostic capabilities which is what AllDATA recommends doing first.

Take it to autozone to get it reset and see if codes are still there But write down any additional codes you find, also if you bought a after market 02 sensor it may not be hooked up right. I have had this problem with after market 02 sensors for the past year. Bad batch and it does happen, once engine has been shut off and ran three times it should have went off by now.
