how and where do I check for vac leak?

I do not have a check engine light

Problem is fixed, not the fuel injector.

I swapped the #3 and #2 injectors and the problem stayed at #3.

When I previously checked the #3 for spark, I pulled the wire and left the plug in the cyl., inserted a known good spark plug and turned engine over and saw spark. so I suspected the injector.

Now that the injector was eliminated I went back to the spakplug wire and used a known good wire and the engine ran normally with the wire replaced. Replaced all wires.

Why did I get a spark from a bad wire, yet the cyl. would not fire?

Misfires wont always trigger a OBDI code but take your injector out and have it bench tested at local parts store or repair center assuming you have spark in that cylinder, cheaper usually but if it needs replacement heres some great places to get cheap replacement

1989 Honda Accord started misfiring on number 4 cyl. I was tuning it up at the time.

No, if the advance was not working, the main symptom would be very poor acceleration. All cylinders would be affected, not just one.

Pull the spark plug on #4 and check its condition, it may be defective. Check the gap and if wrong, like too wide or narrow, gap it to correct specification. Is it oil fouled so spark is hindered? A good plug in a healthy cylinder will be gray or light brown with very little deposits on it. See how that plug compares with the others.
If the plugs look good, check the plug wire for #4-if it is cracked or old looking, try another plug wire to see if the wire was the problem.
If still not found, you may want to have the compression in #4 checked. See if it matches (close) to the other cylinders. Low compression can cause a misfire.

Use the timing light to check the advance, see if it is working right. At idle you will have your base timing, like say at 8 degrees BTDC, At 2500-3000 RPM, the advance should be between 20-30 degrees Before.
If the plugs are too new to read them, you still may have a defective plug, or the wire was not snapped down good at the plug. Also check the distributor cap for any defect (carbon tracks indicate shorting of the spark). Check for corrosion where the plug wire snaps into the distributor cap.

1998 nissan frontier xe 4 cyl auto misfire cyl #2 engine vibrates like a bad sparkplug when driving

To review - - do you know for a fact the distributor is firing that cylinder? And do you have power and a ground pulse for that injector ?
You say no vac leak, but have you done a compression test on all cylinders ? Is it possible the egr valve is leaking and affecting that cylinder ?

Is there an erg valve on a honda accord 2008 4 cyl

code p0300 refers to--random/multiple cylinder/s misfire detected...Causes---spark plugs---HT leads---injectors---ignition coils ---low compression ---wiring
code p0302 refers to cylinder 2 misfire detected Causes ---engine mechanical fault---wiring---ignition/fuel system ---ECT/MAF sensors ECM
code po303 refers to cylinder 3 misfire detected Causes Engine mechanical fault---wiring---ignition/ fuel system ---injector---ECT/MAF sensor ECM The common fault to all is the fuel/system ignition
I would have the injectors checked and have a pressure test done on the fuel manifold to check pump and fuel regulator valve.

94 honda accord vtec Car started to have a rough idle and a **** like feel when it only comes to a stop as in a stopsign or stoplight. When I accelerate pass 10mph the rough idle and jerks goes away....

I don't think it's a fuel problem. Sounds more like spark. Change plugs and wires, and possibly the coil pack. Also could be idle control sensor.

My 2002 honda accord check engine light has been on for the past month. i took m y car to get the engine codes read and it said cyl 2 and 4 misfired. the car drives good but starts losing power when i go...

Did anyone check the spark plugs and wires? Make sure the Spark plugs are the correct NGK Spark plugs, nothing else. Fuel pressure is another thing that need to be verified under a load, lke the mountain you are having trouble with.
