I just wanted to know, how much time it should take to replace 6 disc cd changer on the subject car under warranty.
I'm devided between 45 min and 4 hours ( 2 Different dealers telling me different timings)

The code is in numbers. If you look at your preset stations buttons, they have numbers on them 1-6. Turn on the car key, enter the #'s code on the preset buttons. This must be done 5 or 6 times in a row, till the radio comes on. This is for anti-theft.
Turn on car key, turn on radio. Enter your 6 digit code, using the numbered preset channel buttons on the radio. My code for my 2003 is 16353. The radio should come on and start playing. May have to enter more than once.
you can try disconnecting the battery for 10 min. to reset the system. If that dosent work then you will need to send the radio into a repair shop to have them manually remove the cd and repair the changer. (the changers are very fragle and break inside) you can send it directly to alpine to be repaired.their number is 1-800-421-2284 ex 860304
