SOURCE: 98 ford eddie bauer expedition front tires toed out

bo_ronan,
Front end work can be tricky and should be done by a certified mechanic, there are a number of possibilities here,if it is a "toe out" problem this could be caused by worn tie rod ends or control arm bushings but this may also be a camber problem however camber usually affects one wheel.Camber can be caused by a bent spindle, mislocated strut tower, bent strut, worn or collapsed control arm bushing, bent control arm or a weak or broken spring. If any of these parts are replaced, camber should be checked and adjusted as needed after the parts have been installed.I hope this helps you, good luck.

SOURCE: Will the tire size 235/40/R18 fit on my 2000 Oldsmobile Alero?

Take your Alero to any reputable tire dealer and they will assist you in hopes of selling you something. Just tell them you want an estimate and that you want to be sure you won't have a rubbing problem with this change.

SOURCE: I have the correct size tires on my 2004 S60R,

s60r not only has horrible turning radius but also has rubbing. Car has been poorly designed by Volvo. They even installed metal plate that your rub on when turning hard. Two ways to stop the rubbing is.install 5mm spacers or add washers on steering stops. Please visit swedespeed.com and R forum there for future support.

Will a g78-14 fit on a chevy cavalier 2003

You'll need to check recommended tire size for your vehicle, normally on a tag along the driver's side door frame. The G78-14 tire is approximately equivalent to a P215/75R14 tire. Please make sure you put the same size tire on both sides of your car, front or rear, to avoid stability problems and excess differential wear, and NEVER mix radial ply tires with bias ply tires.

Would 205 75R14 fit my standard 4 door 2004 chevy cavalier or would they rub

Your original size is 195 70R/14. The sport model has 205 55R/16. You are going 10mm wider or 5mm deeper to the inside, but the profile is higher by 5%. I would say they should fit fine.
BUT. I am not an expert in tires. You need to check this out with a Chevy dealer or reputable tire shop.
Using tires that are not the recommended size and/or rating can adversely affect vehicle handling, performance and safety.

07 cobalt pulls to left 75% of the time, alignment shows good

A few things you can try, if you already haven't.

1. Insure that both front tires are a match. ( doesn,'t necessarily need to be the same brand, but if you have a, P 215/70 R15 on the driver's side front, you want to make sure you have the same tire size on the passenger side. This applies to those who purchase used tires. )
Also, look very closely for even wear on both tires.

2. Make sure that both front tires have the same amount of air pressure. ( Your tire size and iar pressure recommendations should be on the driver's side door jamb, or, some have it on the inside of the fuel door.)

3. Stand on the driver's side of the car, put your hands on the hood and use your whole body to push down several times to see how your shock on that side responds, how much does it move?, now check the passenger side to insure they both respond similarly, if not, you may have a bad shock/strutt.

There are other components under the front end that could cause this issue, but, if you've already had the alignment checked the technician should have already checked them.

I hope this helps.

Tire Pressures: My tires show the Max pressure as 35Psi. Inside the door of my vehicle, the recommended pressure is listed as 28Psi. How do I know what the "optimal" pressure is to run in my...

A car that size I would run 32 psi that is pretty much standard tire pressure for any car. 28 seems a little low to me. Air them up to 32 psi. If you know your alignment is good check the tire wear and see if they are wearing even and adjust tire pressure from there. If the middle is wearing and not the sides lower it.

2004 F-I50 WEARING THE INSIDE OF FRONT TIRES. i noticed and rotated my tires, not the front are doing the same thing but not as fast.

by inside of the tire do you mean inside of tread? If so this is an alignment problem, either toe-in or camber; if you mean sidewall- the tires are rubbing on suspension or fender well and need to be a smaller size or off-set of wheels needs to be corrected ( I don't recomend wheel spacers)... get back to me if this doesn't help you...

Noise when turning the wheel fully to the left or right.sounds like grinding.

check the inside of the wheel to see if it rubs on tie-rod ends and the tires for wear and tear. also verify what size of tires are recommended, too big the tires will rub on the inside of the fender

Whenever I go above 60 mph on the highway my steering wheel shakes or vibrates. This has happened before and I had to get my rotors turned. Could it be that I need new rotors? If so, what's the best brand...

Rotors will only cause a shake when braking. Your problem is more than likely out of balance tires.

The best brake components are usually the ones that cost the most.
