Follow the top radiator hose to the motor... that hosing where it joins the motor is where it is located... usually two bolts hold it on... to replace it you need to drain the rad a bit... remove the two bolts... scrap off the old gasket... replace the thermostat... in the exact way the old one was .... replace the gasket and bolt all back up... make sure you inspect for leaks after it's running and topped up... with the rad cap on

It's located in the liquid line between the condenser and evaporator. It can not be removed. You must replace this line.

My heater isn't blowing hot air in a 98 Dodge ram 1500 quad cab. A/C works good and the heater only blows cool air. What could be the problem?

Your heater core is bad or the thremostat is stuck out. I would just get a new thremostat put in it 7 buck.

Remove dipstick, exhaust pipe, left engine to transmission mount, loosen motor mounts & raise engine slightly.(enough to slide pan back out, when ready.) Heard enough yet? Good Luck.
