yeah the temp is going up to half way up the gauge,

i braught it to a mechanic but i think hes a cowboy,

he never checked the fuses or the thermostat, he flushed the pipes and straight away told me that i needed a new rad for behind the dash.

You could possibly need a heater core. I would start with a thermostat usually pretty inexpensive fix.

Have no heat just blows cold if you drive the car for 30 minutes or so it will get luke warm but its still cold any help?

Is your engine temperature gauge reading normal? If not it could be a Possible head gasket. If it reads normal then could be a clogged heater core. Best to have system flushed out.

No heat but blows cold air

Sound like 1 of a few things. The easiest is air in the cooling system. Bleed it and while car is idling and heat is on full blast. (another posibility is head gasket gone bad)

98 Mitsubishi 3000GT air conditioning does not blow cold

Could be a blockage. Get an air-con specialist to blow the lines out. Check for any leaks from the rubber pipes. The twisting nature of AC pipes in cars can perish and if you have heard a blow out (like a tire blowout) the air con might have blown through a pipe.

Any leaves trapped in the windshield/hood gutter?

The air conditioner blows warm air at idle but blows cold at higher rpms and on the road.

Sounds like the fans by the radiator are not coming on. Check relays, wiring, fan motors, temp sensors, PCM.

Problem with air conditioning on 2001 mitsubishi mirage. "Sometimes" will not blow cold, just hot. Coolant level ok. Usually will will start blowing hot after runnning air while car is stopped at idle....

the air conditioning system has most likely drawn moisture this is not good take it to have the system recovered and a new restrictor valve put in. leak checked and recharged

Car heating is broke

the heater switch on the dash activates a valve allowing hot water into the heat exchanger under the dash. I think the valve is not opening so the heat exchanger stays cold. The linkage could be faulty or the switch could be faulty.
