My fuel pump is pumping but it seems like i'm getting no gas to the motor. the fuel filter is clean. i tested it by disconnecting the lines and engaging the pump. the gas pumped through just fine. do i have to drop the tank, remove the filter, and claen the strainer on the pump or does my problem lie somewhere else? please help.

Are you sure the injectors are fine? how about the fuel pressure regulator, do you have any leaks or cracks in the filler neck or the filler neck at the tank?

Car STILL will not crank after replacing fuel pump by reason of deduction and seems to not be getting gas to the engine & motor will turn over just wont start

Yes, if you hear the pump, the relay is ok. The filter should be replaced, or blown out clear, if you suspect it. A plugged filter will certainly keep the car from starting.

Car is not getting gas to motor even after new fuel filter is installed

If you change the fuel filter and still not getting fuel to the engine, then the other possible problems are:
- Clogged fuel lines due to 'dirty' fuel.
- Defective Fuel Pump which may not provide enough pressure to 'push' the fuel pass your new filter.

Hope it helps.

1993 chevy c/k 1500 not getting fuel to carb

have you checked fuel pump presure to see if it has fuel to the rail,
if no fuel in the rail,
check fuel pump relay-and fuses,
last would be to replace fuel pump
