Don't know much about your vehicle but if weird smell is a little like rotten eggs sounds like your catalitic converter may be pluggin or plugged up...need to have it tested..good luck.

Smells like rotten eggs

it is happen to old engine because the oil that escape from the engine(engine cover near the exhaust) when it is got hot it sends bad smell but after how many minutes if it already dried up because of heat it will gone (like frying using the used cooking oil in pan there is a different smell).

My steering has been tight, i was driving hope and i heard a noise then my truck started to sqeek and then there was smoke coming from my engnie. i made it home and looked what it could be and the belt...

Best guess it that your power steering pump has fail or that a power steering hose has burst, more likely the latter. The smoke and smell would be from the power steering fluid burning on the hot exhaust manifold. It is possible that the fluid also got on the brakes.
Your question is a bit unclear.
Inspect the engine. Is a belt broken? Look at the fluid level on the power steering pump.
Post comment with what you find and I will try to help you further. j

You most likely either have a loose belt and it smells like burning rubber or you have a small animal caught in the belts.
Replace or tighten the belts and you will be happy

Your catalytic converter could be your problem. Or you have a family of dead rodents in your engine.
