Hello!
Can you see if the rotor in distributor is turning whilst engine is cranked? or if the Cam is turning by looking through the oil filler while someone turns the key.
If they aren't turning/revolving then you may unfortunately be suffering a timing chain/belt failure.
Sorry to bear bad tidings if this is the problem.

No spark 1995 geo prizm, battery went dead charged battery and now the car wont start and found that there is no spark

lots. (check all fuses first) (its really mostly a toyota)
which engine, the codes vary by ENGINE sizes 1.6, 1.8?
so the battery was dead, and you charged it backup.
did it read 12.6vdc rested?
then now you crank engine and it cranks at normal fast starter speed?
yes/no?
yes, and now no spark, Yes. no spark on all spark plugs?
yes, all are dead. (i guess) ever do a tune up this decade?
so you insert the diagnostic connector jumper and crank for 5sec.
you release key, not off. just release (on)
you get what DTC errors? , flash codes, the flash code tells you
which sensor failed, CMP, or CKP. (cam or crank)
#12,14,41, 43?

jumper , TE to TE1

trouble codes are UNIQUE TO PRISM car only and to each engine
sold then. so dont read about other cars codes, (useless)
and this below is very Unique to Prizm , and not GEO in general.
A continuous steady flash means that no codes are stored in memory.

No spark at plugs

can be many things.
but first check spark directly at the coil,
if coil HV output is zero.
then bad dizzy cmp
then bad ignitor
then bad coil
or bad ecu.
there is a test for each, do you have tools?

Car not starting

a huge list but can be done in the macro format.
1: lost compression, or cam timing way off.
2: lost spark, check for spark at each spark plug.
3: spark timing way off, check timing.
4: fueling bad. (check fuel pressure)
no fuel injections at all or weak.? ( more tests)
flooding. (black fuel soaked spark plugs?)
that is all there is.

Misfiring

The coil is inside the distributor.
You could pull one plug wire at a time and use a spark plug or tester to check for spark.
Usually a visual exam will find fault with the cap or wires.

1995 geo prizm with no spark

no spark at all 4 spark plugs or 1. (using fresh test spark plug?)
is the distributor rotor turning , cranking.?
was the cam belt changed at 60,000 miles, as you must?

Spark plugs wont spark car wont start

ignition coil and the ignitor assembly within the distributor. The ignitor assembly grounds the ignition coil at a frequency to saturate and trigger the ignition coil. The coils fail relatively often. good-day!!

My 1990 geo prizm will turn over but won't start. I replaced the fuel pump but that didn't solve the problem. Help!!!

Being you replaced the fuel pump and that had no effect I would now check if you have spark if theres no spark check your distributor or coil packs if you have coil packs check the crankshaft position sensor that sensor if its bad could cause a no spark condition...

1993 Geo Prizm is turning into a money pit. now it has an exhaust leak. It also sputters through all gears at the start. Could this be due to thw exhast leak or a bad fuel pump???

I don't think an exhaust leak would cause the sputtering in all gears. I've run my Geo in the past with a cracked exhaust manifold for months, and it ran fine, just a bit louder. Are your spark plugs & wires in good shape (missing vs sputtering)? Also check inside the distributor cap for corrosion/carbon build up. If all that is ok, then I would start with the basics: first try running a complete fuel system cleaner through it for the next two tanks, that should clear any partially clogged fuel injectors. If no luck, then replace the fuel filter, and try it, if it still sputters you can check the fuel pump strainer if it looks ok, then you might want to replace the fuel pump.

1995 geo prizm lsi starting problems.

There is a long list of possible causes, You would have to check into each individual one.

1.) Failing fuel pump.
2.) Bad valve seat/seal
3.) Sticking valve
4.) Timing is off, Reset timing to 10* BTDC
5.) Clogged fuel injector(s)
6.) Your new ignition coil (as im assuming thats what you meant by "Igniter") may be faulty.
7.) Wiring to the new ignition coil may be faulty
8.) Spark plug wires not firmly in place.
9.) Faulty Distributor pickup coil and/or wiring harness/wiring.

The list goes on and on, Some are more likely then others. Personally, from experience (having owned 4 95 geo prizms myself in my lifetime) i would go with the clogged injectors, Fuel pump, and distributor pickup/wiring in that order. Those engines last quite a long time when properly cared for, An internal engine problem (Although possible) is unlikely in my opinion.
