Some things to check;
1. running lights and brake light fuses
2. check the bulb to make sure they are good
3. Check the bulb sockets and make sure that they are clean and not rusted or corroded.
4. check the connectors that plug into the lights/light circuit board for bad connection/corrosion.
5. check for water inside the light assembly
6. follow the rear light wires through the trunk or under the car and make sure that they are not cut/corroded/shorted or otherwise damaged

Brake lights don't come on when pedal is pressed, all other lights work. What could be the cause?

While I'm not overly familiar with Mercedes, I'd assume that it still has a brake light switch located on the bar of the brake pedal itself. This switch is typically just a "plunger" style switch, where when you push the pedal down as if applying the brakes, the plunger extends outward turning the brake lights on. When the pedal is released, as if letting off the brakes, the plunger is depressed causing the lights to shut off. If that plunger gets stuck in a depressed position, the lights will remain off at all times. Check that first, along with the brake light fuse and/or relay. Good luck.

Brake lights on mb ml350 don't work even after installing new bulbs

Rick,
The brake lamps on your Mercedes are computer-controlled. I would recommend scanning your computer network for possible fault codes.

Brake lights are stuck on all the time. 320 2002 Mercedes

You have a simple plunger switch on the brake pedal. This can be lubricated or replaced. Simple job.

I have A class mercedes Benz ASB,ESP light came on after 1 mile drive what should i do, to drive the car or not before it fix.

It is OK to drive it I recommend you fix it when you can It is most likely the stop lamp switch located on the back of the brake pedal part is 25-35 dollars depending on where you live have it tested before replacing. If it tests good you have a faulty brake sensor in one of your wheels check brakes

S 500 02 mercedes

check and make sure the brake light are working, the brake light circuit must be activated to release the safety park interlock system, this system uses a solenoid, if the brake lights do work then the solenoid may be bad or the pin is stuck in the shifter.

Transmission wont shift out of park

Try checking the brake light sending unit. Are your brake lights even working. Many newer vehincles will not shift out of park unless the brake pedal is depressed. However, a faulty sendind unit located on the pedal itself can keep you from moving anywhere. Just check to see if your brake lights are working to know if the sending unit is working.
