That fault code means: Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit No Signal and the first thing i would check to fix that problem is the speed sensor.
if you have anymore questions let me know and please dont forget to rate this.

thanks

You need the engine speed sensor. Ask the vendor where the exact location is. This is a foreign Car code.Volks wagon. Looked up the code and somebody else had the problem.

How do a repair a reduce to slow mph on highway

Your ECM (car's brain) has reduced your car to Limp Mode. You'll need a Fault Code Reader and list of fault codes for your vehicle to diagnose the problems. Fault code readers aren't expensive and Haynes makes inexpensive DIY manuals for your vehicle. Could be the EGR, PCV valve, TPS, or Oxygen Sensors. Each of these has a separate fault code... please check a fault code reader and verify the fault against the list in Emission Controls list in the Haynes manual. This will narrow it down for you.

2007 kia sorento code 2422 already replace stuck vent valve still get cpge 2422

The code fault will not go just because you have carried out the repair. To remove the fault code have the fault code reader reset the cpu.

Car repair

To get a list of the fault codes for this car you will have to run a fault code reader. That will give all the current faults for this car. As there are numerous codes that that are common to all cars to get a list of all possible codes for you is next to impossible

2003 S60 reset check engine light? /faulty gas cap seal, repaired

If you disconnected the negative cable battery (soft reset) and the fault code come back again, you will need using an OBD scanner reader in order to know if other fault code stay there.

Hope this helps.

Engine Light on

Their is a fault with the electronics on one of the vehicles electrical circuits, or one of the sensors is activated and reading a mechanical fault. This will bring up the malfunction indicator light, you will need to see a dealer with an electronics reader to find out what this fault code is meaning. Some dealers will read it for free, and then charge for the repair from that point. If it was a false code they will also reset it for free, althogh i have heard some dealers can charge up to $100. OR you can even hire a fault code reader from an automotive parts store and read it yourself. If it is an orange light, just get it to a dealer when you are able to. If it is a red light, avoid driving it and get to a dealer ASAP. this will prevent any further possible electrical damage and any other mechanical damage from what ever the fault maybe. Also, their is a safety issue if the fault is relating to a safety feature of the car. It is hard to pin point an exact fault and exact cost. Cost will vary with the type of fault. Once repaired, the dealer will be able to reset the light for you. Goodluck
