There is a die that you can buy from any parts store. just dumps two of them in your anti-freeze and then run vehicle for a while then use a black light to find out where the leak is coming from. that is the best solution anyone can give you because there are some many different options that you will get from others including them trying to tell you that you have to replace exspensive parts that dont need replacing.

The 90 toyota's had a vacuum 4x system. The easiest way to fix it is to find where the vacuum leak is, or to buy a manual hub conversion kit. Available at almost all part stores.

1994 4runner swapped engine 3.0 to a 1990 3.0 everything hooked up good. Spits fuel out the intake. 1992 is a 2wd and 1990 is a 4wd. Is it ECU issue?

dont think so ?have you used the old 94 manifolds etc this happens with timing or valves sticking open ? would need more info about 1990 engine ie did you hear it run before change ????

I was changing my oil this morning and noticed a few drops of antifreeze on my transmission; (1990 toyota pickup 4wd) it is not running hot and is not low on antifreeze. any ideas?

Best thing to do is have an cooling system pressure test done, this way you will know for sure where and if it is leaking, could be rear block freeze plug, but with test you will know for sure.

4WD SYSTEM

You probably have an issue with the A.D.D. (Auto Disconnect Device) on the front axle. That is what lights up the light. I'd need to know the year to get you better info. If it is newer, check the 4WD fuse under the dash. But, in any case, if it IS in 4WD, the vehicle will make tire noises on a real tight turn, and it will lurch on the same tight turn, like it is trying to drill itself into the street. 4Runners do not have a viscous coupling, in 4wd, all 4 wheels run the same RPM.
