Take it to a radio expert and he would clean the lens. Sometimes the lens cleaners are not enough

2004 infiniti qx56 bose cd stopped playing but radio still working. Tried disconnecting battery but nothing

most likely its toast. you can try putting a cleaner disk in but they dont work very good in cars. the 2 big reasons a cd will not play in an older cd player is dust and dirt, if the lens can not read the disk you will not get any sound, next would be the motor that spins the cd. im assuming that you have an orignal cd and not a recorded one and that it is put in with the writing facing up. hope this helps.

Cd player doesnt read my cd

Tries websites like EBay.com,Amazon.com.Buy a kit call DVD and cd players cleaner.Put this cd in the cd tray play the cd as the instructions said.Player laser eye will be clean, should play ur audio cd again. If still have the same problem, than the player laser eye is damage or dead. The CD player it worthless must be replaced, not worth tried to repair the cd player. The laser eye component itself worth 95 percents of the cd player.

CD Player keeps ejecting the CD

Either Cd is problematic or lens inside of cd player is covered with dust. There is no way of properly cleaning it unless you remove the cd player out and disassemble.

You may try cd cleaner kits but ususally they cant help.

My cd player hasn't been playing cd's, it says 'reading' then ejects disk w/ a beep. It happens w/ regular and burned cd's- it has been playing both prior.

it probably needs to be cleaned. There are cheap cd lens cleaners that you can buy. It is a disc with a brush on it and all you have to do is put it in and the cd player will play it like a cd and it will clean the lens. Or you can take the top off of it and you can clean the lens with a dry cotton swab. Good luck.

Cd player will not play CD'S anymore .

The laser is out of alignment.
It will require professional servicing to re-align and clean.

The cd skips When I put a new cd in, it begins at one then skips to much higher numbers. I have cleaned the cd. Used a laser cleaner disk and I do not know what else to do. Am very frustrated. I have dried...

The "read-ahead" memory cache is too short.
Not much you can do, short of replacing the player; however:
Does your CD player support playing MP3's?
Convert your Audio music CD's to MP3.
The same audio music is "smaller" in MP3 format than audio format. More of the song can fit in the memory cache so it is less likely to "run out" of mermory and skip.

CD player in my 2004 Dodge Stratus doesn't work

are they Burned or copied CD's? CDR, CDRW? cause if they are some radios will not read them and give error messages. if not try using a lazer lens cleaner CD, they sell them at most music stores, you may have lint or dust on the CD lens with summer weather, and pollen in the air and dust, CD player lenses take a beating, so get a WET lazer lens CD cleaner, and that should help fix the problem

Cd won't load in cd player

The unit will have to be removed for repair, this is a very common failure point for all CD players.
