If you have the anti theft code for your radio (if its stock) disconnect your negative battery terminal for 30 minutes.....reconnect and enjoy....did you use a reset tool or did you jump the diagnostic pins to reset?

Reset service engine soon indicator

This can be reset either with a OBD2 code reader or by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes, I recommend using a code reader as the battery way causes you to loose all programming of radio and other personalized data.

What has to be done to turn off sevice engine soon light ? THIS IS ON A 2003 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER.

You can buy a hand scan tool and turn it off. If you can't get a scan tool, you can remove one of the battery cables and wait for 10 mins before hooking it back up. But keep in mind that you need to reset the radio and clock

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - multi-fuse related problems. The A/C keeps shorting out and the garage replaces the fuse. Where is the fuse box for the A/C located? Also, the radio display is dim/non existent...

I can't answer because I have other question open, sorry, but here I send any comments and clues to solve (I hope).

For the FUSE PANEL, location and description, I suggest check the 2000-Pontiac-Grand-Prix-Owners-Manual (page 330 and next). A/C have one "diode". Check it.

About your radio display, sound like a internal problem, keep in mind that the CD is working.

The Security Litgh, its possible that you have any problem with the THEFT system or any aftermark alarm (if you have).

Resetting Oil Service Indicator Lights - Pontiac Grand Prix, 1999-03
Driver Information Center If Equipped). Turn the ignition to ON without starting the engine. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds. If the CHANGE OIL Soon indicator flashes two times, the system is resetting. Turn the ignition key to OFF, then start the vehicle.
If the CHANGE OIL SOON indicator comes on and stays on, repeat the procedure. To reset the OIL LIFE indictor if equipped with a Trip Computer: Press the trip MODE button until the light appears next to OIL LIFE. Press and hold the trip RESET button until the oil life percentage changes to be 99 percent.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

Service engine soon light

The light comes on when the car's computer detects that something has an incorrect reading that is sending that incorrect reading from the sensing unit to the computer.

Here's how i would attempt to solve it. To reset an service engine soon light take the positive terminal off of the battery and let it drain all the voltage and currents in your vehicle. Like try turning on your radio and turning your car over while the positive terminal is taken off of the battery terminal.

I would say let it sit for atleast 15 minutes then put it back on and start the car back up. If the light still comes back one then you have a small problem that could be many different little things

Check to see that your gas cap isn't worn out and still keeping a seal so when you take it off you should hear air escaping from it

Could be a filter in your fuel tank.

Could be o2 sensors

The list could go on, but to make sure before you start spending a huge amounts of money go to a shop and get them to plug in a scanner into your car to see what exactly the code is.

Good luck bud!
