Question about 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I just put a used 4.0 6cyl enging in my 1993 jeep grand cheroke. I am haveing extreme vibrations throughout the truck at 1700-2300 rpm,s It happens to a leesor exten when in park and revving the engine to that rpm. It almost seems like there is a balance issue. Some of the things i have been thinking are the flexplate/flywheel on the used engine was a bit smaller than on the engine i took out. The new engine was from a 1992 Jeep Cheroke and seemed to run fine in that truck. So took the flywheel from the existing engine and used it. The engine seems to run good and when below or above that rpm it is like silk.
One of your motor mounts is touching metal to metal, either the rubber is cracked or broken, or crooked and frameing out
