Question about 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Too Many To Summarize

I have a 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. During the past 5 months, it has gotton a new A/C compressor, a new thermostat, the oil changed, had antifreeze in it, and 4 new tires. I know I have a bad heater core, by the condensation that blows out the vents and my passenger side floorboard getting wet. Here is what happened. I was driving down the road,(hot light had been on and hand pegged out at 260 since I got in the car and it hadn't been driven all day, when you touch radiator cap it's not even warm), anyway car starts acting like it don't want to go. I give it more gas, make it a little farther, then it dies in the road. White smoke coming from hood, oil splattered everywhere underneath the hood. Friend looks and says it's not a blown head gasket, but something had came loose. When oil was checked, it was still full. Tried to drive it again the next day, and made it 6 miles before it quit on me again. There is NO smoke coming from the exhaust and my air filter is clean. Seems though that my antifeeze is going somewhere, because it was low when this happened. But it's not going on the ground. Also the resevoir tank when the car is turned off after it's been driven, just sits there and bubbles. Is that normal?? Do you have any idea what's wrong with my car. I need to get it fixed A.S.A.P as it is my only vehichle. Also if you do know what my problem is then approximately how much money am I looking at to get it fixed?? I sure hope you can help me and as soon as possible PLEASE!!

Thank You For Your Time,

Umm, I'm almost scared to ask this, but how expensive?? And would that explain the hot light and where my antifreeze is disappearing to??

Sounds like you need to replace thermostat assy and add new antifreeze and as far as your oil gauge, replace the "oil pressure sending unit". That should solve your problem

Not hot air from heater

it could be a low coolant level or stuck thermostat or maybe even a clogged line you can try changing the thermostat or getting your radiator flushed out at like jiffylube or a place like that
