Hi i would like to know what viscosity oil i put in my Audi TT 2004 tiptronic transmission which will conform to manufactures specification.

I am going to say 'blown turbo'. As I understand it, they needs replacing every few years. They are susceptible to heat and incredible revolutions. They have to be lubricated, the seals go, and you get smoke.

What viscosity engine oil do i need for my 2001 audi tt quattro and what quantity
5W30 will do. Put it in one litre at a time until you reach the add mark on the dipstick the add little bits at a time until you reach the full mark

2004 audi tt 6 speed auto transmission fill location
There is a fill plug on the side of of the transmission. Its just like a manual transmission where you fill it up to the plug. make sure your car is level and you use approved audi atf.

Tranny slips occasional on up shift. clunks on 4-3-2-1 downshifts
If your TT is quattro it is DSG, if it is FWD then it is Tiptronic.. A battery change usually requires a trip to the dealer to hook up the scan tool and program the TCU for the transmission...
And yes a lower voltage can affect the sensitive electronics in this car..

2004 Audi TT speedometer not working I had my car towed and after the mechanic fixed the problem, called and said the speedometer wasn't working. It was working when they towed it. Wondering why he says he won't fix it, it's not his problem and he didn't do it. I'm sure the towing company has something to do with it, but how would it break?
