I have an 04 Tahoe and having some heating problems as well. Heat in front is a little under luke warm and rear is cold. Had it to dealer 3 times and they are unable to locate the problem. I thought it could be the thermostat needs to be replaced. Going to try that and if that don't work I am going to be unleashing. I have 4 children and they are always saying they are cold. I noticed once I gie the car gas it starts to warm up, but the rear still blows out cold air, front warms up, once I stop for a while with the truck on, it goes back to blowing a little under luke warm air. What the heck?

Sounds like the door for fresh air/recirculate may be stuck partially open.Try to move the selector back and forth a few times,This may free it up.

Tahoe heater

That was a good guess but if you temp gauge on the dash is normal then you don't have a bad t-stat. you probably have a bad heater control valve. It's what controls how much coolant goes into the heater core. Could also be a blend air door inside the heater box up under the dash. or a plugged heater core.

Why my heater in 2000 plymouth breeze only gives a little heat? Could it be a hose ? I know it's not the thermostat, the blowers ar working. I am wonding if theres some hoses that could be leaking?I don't...

it could be the cold air blend door or the thermostat is the engine temp up to the middle of the gauge or close to it if so then thermostat is ok if not then go ahead and replace it.

2001 tahoe front heater not working, rear heater blows warm air

I have the same problem with my 2001 Tahoe. The front blower is working, its blowing strong, but its cold air even with the temp setting as high as it can get. The rear blows hot air. The engine temp guage is at about 210ish which is close to being normal (220). I just replaced the thermostate a few months ago, I don't know if its bad again, or it I deluted the antifreeze too much and it frooze the heater core, or if the heater core just went bad. Any one know what the cause could be?

Heater does not blow hot air on full heat setting

the problem is caused by the motor that operates the air temp blend door motor in the heating ducts, it blends air between AC and heater core tro give desired outlet temp.

2000 Chevy Silverado 4X4 - Heater isn't blowing hot air

No your thermostat is stuck open which will not hurt the engine. but needs to be replaced, the thermostat is what allows the engine get up to operating temp. before allowing water to flow through the radiator and when it is stuck open it doesnt allow the engine to reach operating temp. so the heater never gets hot. I hope that helps you out.
