Question about 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer

1 Answer

Front floor on both sides are wet

2008 Chevy Trailblazer, I don't even have 3,000 miles on it yet and the front floor on both sides is always wet. I took it back to the dealer and they said they did a water test and can't find anything. Something has to be wrong??
I ask the dealer what am I suppose to do , its going to start stinking he said to try to see when it is leaking, Isn't that their job??

Sounds like the drain for the A/C is either clogged or disconnected. Have the dealer check that it's fitted properly because eventually, it WILL start to stink. Badly.
I know you probably aren't using your A/C to cool off the cabin right now, but I'll bet you're using the defroster (which switches on the A/C compressor to remove humidity from the air).
Good luck!

Front right floor always wet

Ac condensation could be building up and dripping in cab.If so under car on passenger side were floor board meets firewall should be a small hose or maybe even just a hole where water to drip. First i use like a coat hanger to clean out.

Equinox has wet floors on both sides in front.....windshield wiper fluid has been filled twice, and just becomes empty. 2008 chevy equinox, do not know what is wrong or what is leaking

1) don't these cars come with a 5 year 50,000 mile warranty? if so take it to a dealer

2) if not under warranty I would replace the washer fluid lines coming from the washer fluid reservoir. something has become disconnected and fluid is not getting to the nozzles. you may need a repair manual to show you how to get to them.

I have a 2001 Ford Mustang with 71,000 miles. My

If you have a wet seat then it is likely defective weather stripping around the window.

Try this. If the floor is dry, then it rains and the floor remains dry, only gets wet after a drive in the rain or on wet streets, you may have a hole somewhere.

Check for holes from missing rubber grommets or holes in the floorboard or firewall from rust. Check for any rust holes or missing rubber grommets under the car or on the firewall, anywhere water can splash up into the vehicle from driving in rain or running through puddles..

Check wet spots along the carpeting all the way up under the dash, if the wet spot is higher than the floor itself, you could be getting the water from splashing through puddles.

Any holes under the car or in the fenderwell even up on the firewall can cause this problem.

First check for any obvious signs of rust, if none are found then look for missing or defective rubber grommets.
