Question about 2000 Buick LeSabre
6 weeks ago had the valve body rebuilt due to hard reverse shift in cold weather - tranny shop replaced the sensors etc with all new sonnax componants. - went to several dealers over a 3 year period and they all said let the car warm up 5 -10 minutes before shifting.
Anyways - 2 weeks after rebuild i was approaching a red light - took foot off accelerator car shifts to 1st gear (10 mph) light goes green I accelerate - rpms go to 3000-3500 - does not shift to 2nd gear - then in a second or two it shifts - no big deal - today -- 4 weeks later - same thing happens- did not see check engine lite- shifting took alittle longer this time ( it is @ 20 degrees here in NY) - is that I do not drive the car alot - a converter problem - or some relay - or a valve body problem?
