Remove the window switch, pour rubbing alcohol over it while scrubbing it with an old toothbrush, and let it dry for 5 or 10 minutes- it should be fine...also check your power window fuse under the dashboard in the fusebox.

Most likely you have to replace the switch assembly on the driver side it probably got wet over the years from rain and snow and cause it to short out. Do not get a used part from a scrap yard because your end up with the same problems.

Power windows won't go down

Window motors bad but if you do end up replacing it, first check for power at the plug going to the window motor when you use the switch.

Rear driver's window won't roll down

Most probably motor. Have someone push button while u hold ear to inside door and listen for motor to try and run.

Most time shot in dark as most will not make noise but sometimes you will hear a click letting you know that power is at least getting to motor.

Passenger side window rolls down, not up.

New switch, and new motor, and still the problem! I wonder if the driver's switch (the master switch) for the pass. window is stuck in a position that won't allow for the passenger switch to operate normally. Not sure how you'd test that hypothesis without trying a new masterswitch, but maybe you can figure a way. And as you know, power for the windows is routed first through the master switch, and then to the other window switches.
I would think you could get the window up if you disconnected the actuator for the power windows. Just reconnect everything after you get the window up.
Good luck, Kollman.

Windows won't go up or down and interior lights stay on

You have two separate (and unrelated) electrical issues.
(1) windows - probably the fuse is blown - replace. If it keeps blowing fuses, then you have a
short somewhere in the wiring to the window operator motors or the switch to raise/lower
the windows (any soda/latte been spilled on one of the switches lately?, or perhaps a window
left open overnight in a rainstorm?).

(2) interior light staying on - almost always a stuck/corroded/worn door switch - play with all
four & you'll find which one has gone marginal (97% of the time its drivers door switch,
since the driver's door gets more usage than all the other doors put together).

Have you tried replacing the master window switch? Just because the other windows work doesnt mean that switch for that window is good.

The main switch is controled by the drivers door main unit.....i had to use a forward force on my windows switch for it to replaced the whole unit, you could find those on ebay cheap if local auto parts is expensive

Windows won' go up or down and I've replaced all fuses and circut breakers.

Try replacing the switches. Try replacing the driver side switch first. Try the windows. If you checked all the fuses, relay, etc., I doubt all the window motors are bad. I would try new switches

Driverside window will not roll down

hello , well it looks like you could have two problems so i am going to give you different senarios .if the window makes noise when you hit the switch and the glass does not go down this is just a window regulator defective and it needs to be replaced . if it does not make any noise and it does not move at all there is no current in the window motor or the window motor is bad (not likely) /chek for fuses they are in glove box top inside open small white tabs , about the switch for canselling window fuction some times this switch goes bad because of coffe spills of fluids ., if this is the case just replace it for a new switch , (check for stickyness in the switch )
