Most likely the blower resistor is burnt out, this controls the speed of the air blower, low, medium, high. The blower and the resistor are located behind and to the right of the glove box under the dash on the passenger side, u will need various screwdrivers and a few different wreches t fix it yourself.

If the fan is on and u get no heat have you tried to replace the thermostat , they gum up and stop working properly after awhile and that's the cheapest thing to try next..if the fan isnt coming on try tapping the blower motor maybe the brush's are froze and need a good tap on the housing to kickstart it..

My 2005 honda civic is not producing heat only blowing cold air

Check that the heater pipe are hot, there are 2 pipes 1 in and 1 out. if both cold could be stat .If 1 is hot and the other is cold it could be air or blocked heater matrix, with car running take cold pipe off . if water flows out check its warm, if it flows out cold leave till water warms up then put pipe back on, make sure you keep radiator topped up while your doing it, if no water comes out when you take the pipe off the matrix is blocked, take both hoses of and flush through with a hose pipe.

Heat and air conditioning does not work.

say what dont work.
ok the blower blows, and for sure on high.
so what do you want , and where.
heat to cab?
cold air conditioning to cab?
does not work, ok
lets do 1. no heat to cab,
blow fuse is 1st . check all fuse. (see glove box operators guide)
if no heat:
check engine heat, is it 180F and holding
check cap heater core hose, in heat mode are both hot. ?
if both are hot you have heat to the core and is a damper failure
in the heater box (or controller)

I have a 95 honda civic lx. ac kicks on but blows warm air. checked freon levels and pressure and that was ok. what could be the problem? and im a diy guy so what part would i need

First you will have to figure out if the ac system is working or not.
If one of the ac lines is cold and the other is hot, you could have a blend door problem behind the glove box. The blend door directs air thru the heater core and the evaporator core.

03 Honda Civic heater blows cold air. Only heats up when accelerating.

Have the same problem since last spring. Kept going low on coolant and the coolant reservoir level would go up. Tried new radiator cap, did not help. Now blowing coolant out of reservoir, head gasket is bad.

Sounds like he left a hot wire out, and not a ground. Most likely shorted something in your heater controls. Check there first.

you should have hot water on all rad. hoses when the motor is running at a norm. temp. the water is not going through the heater core like it should. you have cutoff valve bad low water are a stopped heater.try a hoter thermostat if none of the above are true.
