Transmission leak just bought it thru e tested and cert

Take it back and have them fix it. Otherwise locate the source of the leak to determine if it is something simple like a gasket or a loose fitting. If it's leaking from the bell housing. then the front seal needs to be replaced. That requires transmission removal.

Transmission is gone, rebuild it. 4t65e/4t45e transmissions aren't that hard to do. Buy the manual and follow it..

My 2002 Buick Rendezvous starts and runs fine but

Check the transmission oil level, that is the first thing to do, then check the linkage for proper operation, It is possible the transmission has failed.

A 2002 Buick Rendezvous FWD transmission fluid change how much fluid do I need? I also discovered leakage, Do I change the gasket and pan as I am about to change the ATF filter?

Is the pan gasket leaking ? You would normally get a new gasket with the filter so the gasket gets changed too.
Most models hold about 4-6 quarts of ATF. I would start with 4 and add until the trans is full. Your torque converter does not get drained.

1989 Buick Regal Limited Transmission Fluid?

I'm not sure I am following your problem.
A transmission holds 10-15 quarts including the torque converter. When you drain the fluid you are changing about 4 quarts of the full amount.
Once you fill the transmission to the full mark on the dipstick, you should not be adding more fluid unless there is a leak. Or if the vac modulator is damaged and allowing fluid to be pulled into the engine. The fluid is checked with the engine running in park.

2003 rendezvous transmission fluid change how much fluid do i need?

  • A full transmission fluid change, like as in a flush, requires 9.5 quarts of DEXIII/M transmission fluid.
  • If you are going to be dropping the pan at home to swap the filter and gasket you will not loos near full capacity of transmission fluid. For this you may loose 3 quarts (give or take a bit). 4 Quarts on hand would be plenty for this case.
  • Don't forget to (with you foot on the brake) run the transmission through the every gear for a few seconds to fill the pockets before you check the level. if you do drop the pan.
  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

How do u add transmission fluid on a buick lacrosse 2006

The only way I know of to add transmission fluid to a transmission is through the same tube that the dip-stick is in. Add about 1/4 quart at a time. Usually, it is added while the engine is warm, idling in park or in neutral. It should tell you on the dipstick itself. Be sure it is on level ground. Do not overfill, or it will leak forever.
If the transmission level is low, then it must have leaked out in the first place. Try to find a leak by parking over night on fresh newspaper, and observe the paper the next day. If it is towards the front, then it might be the tubes going to the radiator, which cools the tranny oil right along with the engine coolant. If it is in the middle of the engine compartment, then it is the front seal, a major repair, so just maintain the level until the end of the car's lifetime. If it is towards the end of the engine compartment, then it is just an output seal, an easy fix by a competent mechanic.
Most transmission shops, as well as brake shops, will give you a free inspection. Sometimes, Wall Mart will too.
Good Luck.
