Question about 1991 Jeep Cherokee Limited
I have a vibration problem in my 91 Jeep Cherokee that I can't seem to make go away. I have balanced the tires, replaced u-joints and I even found that the torque converter was hanging loose on the the fly wheel. Fixing those things all helped but there is still a high frequency vibration going on that is most noticeable above 60 mph. I believe the problem to be somewhere from the transfer case forward because it is there in 2WD but when I put the transmission into temp 4WD it goes away.
I had a 95 jeep cherokee and would vibrate on the freeway of speed 50 and above, i did the same thing you d and didn't go away. A friend of mine told me to replace my steering damper which a small shock absorber in the front center of the car it was 20 bucks and fix the problem.
