Question about 2000 Chevrolet Blazer
I have a 2000 chev blazer. it makes a rather loud grinding sound in the front end coming from the wheelwell area. i took it to a garage and they said i needed to replace the wheel bearings and the hub assembly. then another person told me that the blazer doesnt have wheel bearings. so wouls you be able to tell me how to change out the hub assembly and wheel bearings?
I just had my wifes replaced.[4x4 blazer S-10] Chev want 300.00 for each, I went on line and got the parts cheap and a friend from chev put them on in his garage. I think the whole thing cost me 200.00

Plan on spending more than $75 on this repair I am quite shore that that wont evan cover the parts. It definitely has a wheel bearing in the case of this vehicle it can only be replaced as an assembly that includes the hub. The ABS wheel speed senser is often sold as part of the assembly or in some cases is sold separately. good chance it will need to be replaced. Get the job done as soon as possible this is a very unsafe condition Your wheel will fall off while driving eventually if not repaired
