Car won't start,acts like it is not getting fuel. Where is the fuel pump located and how do you test it?

When you turn the key in run position, [not start] you should hear the pump hum for a few seconds. it's located in the gas tank.

It could be the fuel pump. Sometimes you can hear them engage, but they are not pushing enough fuel pressure to run the car. This can be checked.

Or un hook the NEG.end of the battery for
30min.

Car wont start once ieng is shut off for 20mins or longer
this sounds like a defective fuel pump, but u will need to have the fuel pressure tested when it acts up to verify this is the issue 100%, the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank.
