Re: Remote control will unlock all doors but will not...
Your remote controller can be reset by most auto mechanics. Go to any trusted mechanic - it takes a couple of minutes - usually no charge; if you go to a dealer, they will charge you for it. But, if you are still the first owner, your dealer will do it for you for free.

Saab's have very specific steps that you must follow when you change the batteries in your key fob. You might try these steps to re-sync your key fob to your security system....
If the battery has been changed outside the
car and the car is locked, proceed as follows:
1 Unlock the front left door with the traditional
key. If the car has a car alarm, this
will be tripped.
2 Open the door and insert the remote
control into the ignition switch. If the car
has a car alarm, this will be silenced.
The remote control and receiver unit are
try putting key in ignition turn to on position
then press lock & unlock several times slowly if door locks cycle up & down after 1st press it lost code and is now resynconised.
now try remote with all doors closed and key out of ignition
if this dont work need to register key(program)back into system which dealer must do with Tech2 if round heart shapped remote
If remote locks and unlocks driver door but does not unlock passenger doors, then follow the advice above: Get in the car using the key to unlock the doors. From the passenger
side lock and unlock your doors using the button on the passenger
door. Get out and the remote should now unlock all the doors with 2
presses. Worked perfectly for me after several other suggestions (and dealer) failed.
