thanks any way,but the problem is I live in Libya ,as you may have noticed ,and the car i bought was imported to Libya by local dealer, who has not brought the original key along with the car.So i am far away from the direct dealer ,who ,may have it.Do i have to contact the manufacturer to solve this??

thanks in advance for your concern?

    Mossa .

SORRY ,I WAS NOT VERY ACCURATE ,I REALIZED THAT IT IS THE REMOTE IS THE ONE I AM AFTER, AS I UNDERSTAND THE KEY AND THE REMOTE ARE SEPARATE.SO I AM AFTER THE REMOTE "WHICH OPENS AND CLOSES THE CAR DOORS,AND IT OPERATES THE ALARM SYSTEM"!!!

    ANY IDEAS !!

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP!!!

I give my pathfinder car to one of my friend for one day when his care was broken. The key that I give him is the copy not the original, but now I am afraid if he made a copy from the coy that I gave to him. The question is that, is it possible to make a copy from the key( which is a copy itself)or it should be the original one to open the code. Thanks in advance and wattling for your reply.

THE DEALER WOULD BE YOUR BEST BET, ALSO TRY A GOOD REPUTABLE KEY STORE, BUT THOSE WON'T BE OEM.

NOW I SEE YOUR PROBLEM, BUT UNFORTUNATELY THOSE KEYS HAVE A CHIP INTERNALLY AND NEEDS TO BE PROGRAM TO WORK IN YOUR CAR. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO CAN DO THAT IS THE DEALER.UNLESS YOU HAVE THE BASE MODEL, WHO USES A REGULAR NONCHIP KEY. THEN ANY KEY SHOP IN YOUR AREA CAN MAKE YOU ONE.

Chrysler sebring code p0513

P0513 stands for invalid SKIM Key. Basically it means that the "computer chip" that is in your ignition key which has a special code is not recognized by your vehcile compter (PCM). In most cases that I have come across is that either your VIN is not entered or is the incorrect VIN programmed into the PCM. Have you recently changed the PCM ? You may try another ignition key but I doubt that would work unless you are using the wrong key for the vehicle. You will need special diagnostic computer programs in order to correct this problem. Most likely your PCM will need to be "Flashed" to the VIN. This really isn't a weekend/backyard/part time mechanic fix. Hope this helps you to understand what the code is and what it means. Guessing the vehicle won't start.....

Keys locked in trunk 2004 chrysler sebring convertable

any mobile locksmith can get you into the trunk. or at least cut a key for the door and ignition and then use the inside trunk release. They will tell you the cost up front.

Your local dealer may be able to cut a key using the vin number.

I ordered a 2nd key for my 2005 crossfire that i bought used. of course they only had 1 key. my local dealer ordered a new key by using the vin number. after 5 weeks & $135.00, the key does not work in...

Go have a key cut at a locksmith, even if it would start you car , due to anti-theft, and give them that one, to make a good key, just an idea..

I LEFT THE KEYS IN MY TRUNK AND MY CAR IS LOCKED, IS THERE A WAY TO OPEN IT WITHOUT BREAKING A WINDOW? :))

just call your local toyota dealer and give them your vin(vehicle identifacation number) and they can cut you a new key without having the original, you can find this number on the title or registration or your insurance card. This vehicle is equipped an engine imobiliser system , a new imob key can be expensive, tell them you just want a plain key, this key will not start the car but will open your trunk and doors
