Question about 1999 Saab 9-5
Check the wiring going betwen the trunk lid and car body (its in a flex tube) the constant flexing can cause the wiring to break causing failures to any of the lamps and devices powered through
that cable (the reverse lights ,Rear Fog lamp,Licence plate lamps,and Remote trunk release)

Hi . i have saab 95 .when its engine is hot that time i am not able to restat it i need to wait till its temprature going down can i have solution of it.

IF THE BULBS ARE OK CHECK THE HEADLIGHT MODULE(IT LOOKS LIKE A RELAY, ORANGE CASE I THINK) TRY WIGGLING IT,IM PRETTY SURE THATS IT. THEY GO BAD ALOT ON SAABS. IT SHOULD BE IN THE ENGINE CONPARTMENT

If wagon, I think this is in the back door. Remove little doors by turning the screws 1/2 turn. These can be tight. Use small flat head to get the doors off. Remove and replace light.

Some smoke is normal in high milage vehicles. As long as there isn't smoke coming from the pipe all the time you will be ok. Mostly what happens is the valve seals will deteriorate and leak some oil into the piston chamber which will burn when the vehicle is started.
