Question about 1990 Buick Century
1990 Buick Century 3.3L - ***No Check Engine Light*** Starts fine, Idles fine, Drives Fine for a while, Stalls after 10 - 30 minutes. The stall is not a rough stall, but instead just a straight die. Engine will immed. restart run for a for moments then die. Once stalling process begins the vehicle will not drive, but will idle. I have relaced CPS, O2, Fuel Filter, and Harmonic Balancer. I have Completely dismantled the Throttle Body throughly clean everything including other sensors attached. The plugs and wires are fine, just replaced about 5,000 miles ago. Gap is still good. If you can help please do so I think I am about to commit arson! :)
You might want to chk. the crank sensor and or cam sensor. sounds more to me that it could be fuel problem. chk. fuel pressure. pump could be on its way out. don't be fooled by hearing the pump running as they sound like they are pumping but there not, at least not enought pressure to keep it running. pressure should be around 50 p.s.i.
